How we got started
BusAustin started with one bus and a simple idea: Austin deserved a charter company run by people who actually live here. Our founder Marcus Webb spent twelve years driving for national carriers before deciding that local groups deserved better — more flexible, more personal, and more connected to the city they were exploring.
We launched in 2011 with a single mid-size coach and a handful of loyal clients. Word spread fast. By 2015 we had expanded to a full fleet and added airport transfers to our lineup. Today we move thousands of passengers a year — from bachelorette parties on Rainey Street to corporate retreats in the Hill Country — and we still answer the phone ourselves.
